Project Description

Specially designed wooden deck located in The Moorings development along the Indian River. Strict association guidelines needed to be met with the deck being flush to existing seawall. Trenches were dug and posts were buried in concrete, with yards of dirt excavated and hauled away with little to no disruption to surrounding landscaping. The homeowner then decided to add a set of steps leading to a larger area along the side for deck chairs, which were cut into the slope of the backyard.

All surrounding turf was sculpted and graded to provided a smooth transition and landscaped with new sod to match the existing lawn.

The homeowner and his family now enjoy safe and spacious steps descending from the pool area and leading to the boat dock and a beautiful outdoor area to enjoy many hours of sunbathing and relaxing river gazing.
